Las actividades buscan fortalecer la convivencia familiar, la actividad turística y el consumo local en espacios públicos y gratuitos.
The Government of the People, through the Secretariat of Tourism and Identity (SECTURI), will carry out public broadcasts of international soccer matches in León and in the Magical Towns of Dolores Hidalgo Cuna de la Independencia Nacional and Yuriria.
This project is being developed in coordination with the Secretariat of Tourism of the Government of Mexico and is part of the tourism promotion and economic activation actions that various entities are promoting during the international match calendar.
The broadcasts will take place in public spaces, with free access and under operational schemes focused on family coexistence, order, and the safety of attendees.
The Secretary of Tourism and Identity, Lupita Robles León, explained that these activities will strengthen Guanajuato's tourist presence, as well as generate benefits for participating businesses, services, and tourism providers in the venues.
“We want families to be able to enjoy these gatherings in safe and orderly public spaces, while also boosting the tourism and economic activity of our municipalities,” he/she/it said.
The venues will have basic operational, care, and security infrastructure to ensure an adequate co-existence experience for attendees.
As part of this strategy, the tourist, cultural, and gastronomic attractions of Guanajuato will also be promoted, especially in the participating Magical Towns.
The schedule includes high-expectation matchups and will be adjusted as the international sports calendar progresses.
The Government of the People continues to promote actions that strengthen social coexistence, tourism, and the local economy, through the responsible use of public spaces and activities of citizen interest.
