Its winery was inaugurated in 2015. This winery surrounded by fields of lavender and olive trees had its first commercial production of approximately 11,000 bottles, then in 2016 increased its production to 20,000 bottles and already in 2018 exceeded 90,000 bottles.

A development that makes us feel as if we were in Tuscany fuses different passions being mainly real estate with agricultural area composed of vineyards, olive trees and lavender, the trilogy of crops that gives rise to the name of La Santísima Trinidad. It also has a boutique hotel, restaurant, polo field, olive workshop, lavender workshop and, of course, a winery.

In October 2017, the Viñedos San Lucas winery was inaugurated with a production capacity of 120,000 bottles per year. With 14 different varieties of grapes for winemaking, in addition to table grapes. The 80% of its wine production are reds, white and rosé wine is also vinified. All our wines are produced in micro vinifications preserving the quality of the product over the quantity.

A boutique wine production. After the alcoholic fermentation process, our red wines are aged in American oak barrels. Its production is directed by the winemaker Mailen Obón from Mendoza, Argentina.

Ensamble Blanco 2018, Ensamble Rosado 2018, Ensamble Crianza 2018, Merlot Reserva 2017, Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2017, Tempranillo Reserva 2017, Malbec Reserva 2018. And in addition to our high quality wines, we produce extra virgin olive oil and lavender essential oil with its derivatives. You can enjoy a complete winemaking experience in our winery tours, workshops, ending with a tasting of three of our wines with local cheeses and olive oil. Bodegas Vega Manchón began its first winemaking in 2005, with vines that were more than fifteen years old. The first commercial wines were produced in 2008 and in 2010 the label “Cuna de Tierra Bicentenario” was made exclusively for Palacio de Hierro, with the release of “Cuna de Tierra” and “Pago de Vega”; since then the quality has been increasing thanks to the artisanal way of caring for the vineyard and making the wine.
In 2013, construction was completed on the new winemaking and visitor service facilities designed by architects Ignacio Urquiza Seoane and Bernardo Quinzaños Oria and awarded a silver medal at the 1st Biennial of Architecture of Mexico City, named Icon of Mexican Design by Architectural Digest magazine and winning a silver medal at the XIII Biennial of Mexican Architecture 2014.
In March 2014, the Guanajuato Grape and ino Association was formed at the initiative of Guanajuato Secretary of Tourism Fernando Olivera Rocha, made up of representatives originating from the municipalities of Dolores Hidalgo, San Miguel de Allende, Comonfort and San Felipe, chaired by Cuna de Tierra, with the aim of giving life to the wine route of the Independence Valley, stimulating the progress of people and wine tourism.”
