The El Cóporo Archaeological Zone was inhabited approximately between the years 500 and 900 AD, and stands out for its structures built among hills and vegetation, which creates a natural and mystical environment ideal for celebrating the equinox.
This landscape, combined with the energy of the place and cultural traditions, makes the event a unique experience for those seeking to connect with pre-Hispanic history and the spirituality of spring.

The 5th Chichimeca Equinox aims to pay homage to the cultural roots of the region, especially to the indigenous communities that inhabited this area.
During the day, visitors witnessed ceremonies of gratitude, purification rituals, and traditional dances, which symbolize the change of season and the renewal of energy.
