We then walked to the Jardín Principal, the heart of the municipality. There we were fortunate to coincide with the Expo de Artesanos, a space that brings together local talent in unique pieces handmade with dedication and pride.
These exhibitions are held on an ongoing basis, so it is worth keeping an eye on Turismo Apaseo's social networks for upcoming dates.

St. John the Baptist Parish ⛪
Nearby is the Parroquia de San Juan Bautista, a jewel of the historic center with more than 200 years of antiquity.

Andador Galeana: tradition and charro atmosphere 🤠.
We continue our tour to the Andador Galeana, formerly known as the Garden of Lovers. Today it is a space full of life, with small cafes, restaurants and stores that reflect the deep-rooted charro tradition of Apaseo el Grande.
Here you can sit and enjoy a drink, buy handicrafts or even take home a hat as a souvenir of your visit.
Muñoz Ledo Cheeses: the flavor you didn't expect 🧀
To close with a flourish, we visited the Muñozledo Cheese factory, located in the center of town, very close to the parish church and the Casa de los Perros.
Apaseo el Grande is also a cheese producer, and cheese is produced here:
