The alliance will drive training, technical assistance, business meetings, and access to financing for tourism companies in Guanajuato.
The Government of the People, led by the Governor Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, strengthens the tourism sector and entrepreneurship in Guanajuato with the signing of the Collaboration Agreement between the National Bank of Foreign Trade (Bancomext), National Bank of Mexico and the Secretariat of Tourism and Identity (SECTURI), through the Directorate General of Innovation and Tourism Intelligence.
This strategic alliance is aligned with the public policy promoted by the federal program Plan Mexico and aims to establish the foundations for collaboration between participating institutions to benefit Guanajuato's tourism sector, through actions focused on business strengthening, financial inclusion, and regional economic development.
The signing of the agreement will allow for the promotion of training programs focused on strengthening financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, and business skills for tourism service providers in our state.
It also includes technical assistance to profile credit subjects and promote business development, fostering inclusion, sustainability, and innovation among companies in the sector.
Another strategic focus will be the organization of business meetings that generate opportunities for productive linkages and contribute to regional and national economic development.
As part of this collaboration, through the PyMEX Tourism program, a financing fund will be made available for projects involving expansion, remodeling, furniture and equipment renovation, working capital, and factoring for tourism companies.
With these actions, the Government of the People, through SECTURI, strengthens growth opportunities for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism sector, promoting financial tools and support schemes that allow them to increase their competitiveness and sustainability.
In addition to complying with the guidelines and objectives of the Governor of the People, reaffirming the commitment to strengthening tourism as an engine of economic development, job creation, and growth for Guanajuato families.
The signing was attended by Master María Guadalupe Robles León, Secretary of Tourism and Identity; Licensed Carlos Alberto Magdaleno del Mazo, representative of NAFIN and Bancomext in Guanajuato; Master David Ayala Saucedo, Undersecretary of Identity and Tourism Development; and Engineer Marco Antonio Morales García, Director General of Tourism Innovation and Intelligence.
