León will become a showcase for Latin American cuisine during its second edition of Latin Chefs 2026; a sum of experiences that unite tradition, creativity, and identity under the motto “Flavors that tell our story.
Before representatives of the media and members of the industry, it was explained that for three days (August 7th to 9th), over 10 guest chefs, specialists, and culinary enthusiasts will participate in an agenda designed to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and bring attendees closer to the culinary diversity of Latin America.
Among the activities, the following stands out: Chefs' Conversation, which will be hosted by the Mexico Technology University (UNITEC), where students, industry professionals, and the general public will be able to learn about the careers, techniques, and perspectives of renowned Latin American gastronomy exponents.
The program also includes the traditional Breakfasts at Tía Popa's House, which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, as well as a VIP Dinner at Asador La Vaca Argentina Sur, an exclusive gastronomic experience that will bring together guest chefs in a special culinary offering.
With the slogan “Flavors that tell our story”this edition seeks to highlight how cuisine preserves the memory, traditions, and identity of peoples, becoming a bridge between cultures and generations.
In addition to enriching the region's gastronomic offerings, Latin Chefs 2026 strengthening León and Guanajuato as a culinary tourism destination by offering experiences that combine gastronomy, knowledge, and culture, attracting visitors and promoting Latin American culinary talent.
