Sabor a Vid + Mundo del Vino GTO is a celebration that consolidates Guanajuato as one of the main wine tourism destinations in Mexico, bringing together wineries, vineyards, and all the Guanajuato identity.
As part of the strategy to consolidate Guanajuato as one of Mexico's main wine tourism destinations, the upcoming June 5 and 6 will be held Taste of Vine + Wine World GTO, on the Terrace of Nations at the León Fair facilities.
In the Government of the People of the Governor Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo and the Secretariat of Tourism and Identity (SECTOR), we recognize the relevance of this event, as a platform for tourism, gastronomic, and cultural promotion that brings together wine producers, gastronomic experiences, artisans, and key players in the tourism value chain.
This space, designed to connect visitors with the richness of the Guanajuato territory, also represents one of the most important initiatives to boost wine-related tourism, an activity that has gained great relevance in the state thanks to the growth of its wineries, wine tourism routes, and integrated experiences. Nature, culture, gastronomy, and hospitality.
For two days, attendees will be able to learn about and enjoy the offerings of wineries from different regions of Guanajuato, as well as taste local products, gastronomic proposals, and cultural experiences that reflect the identity of the producing municipalities. For this reason, "Sabor a Vid" is conceived as an integral tourism promotion experience that invites visitors to discover wine from its origin, understand its production process, and explore the routes and destinations that are part of the state's wine tourism development.
Taste of Vine + Wine World GTO It aims to consolidate the state as a national and international benchmark in wine tourism through a large-format event that integrates wine, gastronomy, culture, tourism, and immersive experiences in the same space. Furthermore, it seeks to generate a significant impact among visitors, media outlets, content creators, and professionals in the tourism sector, strengthening Guanajuato's projection within Mexico's tourism and wine industry.
The participation of wineries from different regions of the state will allow for the showcasing of the diversity and quality of Guanajuato's wine production, while also creating promotional opportunities for producers, municipalities, and tourism service providers linked to the development of wine tourism.
Through sensory experiences, territorial activations, and public interaction spaces, the event aims to spark interest in learning more about the state's destinations and encourage future trips to wine-producing regions, thereby strengthening economic impact and positioning Guanajuato as a competitive and differentiated destination.

One of the main attractions will be The World of Wine GTO, an immersive experience installed inside an innovative geodesic dome that will allow visitors to delve into Guanajuato's wine culture through different interactive and sensory spaces. On this tour, the public will be able to experience an educational and cultural proposal through digital projections, sensory stations, thematic modules, rapid tastings, and spaces dedicated to wine-producing municipalities. Each of the areas has been designed to bring attendees closer to the history, aromas, landscapes, and traditions that have made the state one of the emerging benchmarks in the national wine industry.
The experience seeks to generate a deeper connection between the visitor and the territory, allowing them to understand how wine is part of the Cultural, economic, and tourist identity from Guanajuato. Likewise, knowledge of the wine tourism routes that currently integrate the state's tourism offerings and attract thousands of national and international visitors each year is promoted.
