The entity proudly shows in both exhibitions the best of its land with heritage cities and magical towns.
The State of Guanajuato is exhibited simultaneously in two of the most important tourist museum spaces in the country, reaffirming its national leadership as a cultural and heritage destination with identity.
Through the Ministry of Tourism and Identity (SECTURI) in Mexico City, Guanajuato is part of Odisea Mexico, a new immersive and innovative space that invites you to virtually tour the cultural and natural wealth of the 32 states of the country, where Guanajuato has a room that shows the best of its two heritage cities.
In this precinct, our state has a special room that exhibits an impressive representation of the Parish of San Miguel Arcangel, symbol of San Miguel de Allende and World Heritage Site, accompanied by elements that reflect the artistic, historical and human diversity that characterizes the Capital of Guanajuato.
“All countries are betting on having innovative experiences. Mexico is great because we are the sixth most visited country in the world, thanks to our natural resources, our cultural resources and, most importantly, our people, the quality of our host,” said the Secretary of Tourism and Identity, Lupita Robles León, during the tour with tourism heads from all over the country.
Odisea Mexico, located in the capital of the country, will be an official point of national tourism promotion, a window for the world to know the best of Mexico and Guanajuato, its identity, warmth and rich heritage.
On the other hand, the National Museum of Magical Towns, located in Calvillo, Aguascalientes, inaugurated the exhibition “A Journey through the Magical Towns of Guanajuato”, an exhibition that pays tribute to the history, traditions and hospitality of our state.
The exhibition, which will remain open from October 24, 2025 to February 15, 2026, invites visitors to discover the essence of the six Magical Towns of Guanajuato, Dolores Hidalgo Cuna de la Independencia Nacional, Yuriria, Salvatierra, Comonfort, Mineral de Pozos, Jalpa de Cánovas, with the special participation of San Francisco del Rincón as a guest destination.
During the inauguration, it was emphasized that this exhibition will allow visitors to get to know and admire the greatness of Guanajuato, a state full of history, pride and human warmth.
With these two exhibitions, Guanajuato consolidates its position as a national reference in two spaces of cultural promotion, strengthening the positioning of its World Heritage Cities, its Magical Towns and the identity that distinguishes the people of Guanajuato throughout the country and the world.
