During the event, the participation of service providers, companies in the sector, travel agencies and strategic allies was highlighted.

The Ministry of Tourism and Identity of the State of Guanajuato launched the Tourism Promotion Caravans 2026, a key strategy to strengthen promotion with a regional vision, generate commercial alliances and consolidate tourism as an engine of economic and social development, as a vision of the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo.

On behalf of the Secretary of Tourism and Identity, María Guadalupe Robles León, the Undersecretary of Tourism Promotion, Armando Emmanuel Gasca, emphasized that these actions respond to a clear vision of the State Tourism Program 2025-2030, which recognizes that today tourism is built collaboratively between states, adding vocations, connectivity and complementary experiences.

During the event, the willingness and openness of the authorities of the state of Guerrero was appreciated, as well as the participation of service providers, companies in the sector, travel agencies and strategic connectivity allies such as TAR, ETN and FPV, who contribute to strengthening the flow of visitors and regional integration.

The Tourism Promotion Caravans include destination presentations, business meetings and networking opportunities for stakeholders in the value chain, allowing for the exchange of experiences, the identification of trends and the construction of more solid tourism products, with a direct impact on hotel occupancy, economic spillover and local employment.

This collaboration between Guanajuato and Guerrero is also in line with the federal strategy of tourism regionalization, which seeks to show Mexico to the world through integrated corridors, where the diversity of destinations becomes a shared strength. Within this framework, Acapulco was presented as a destination, as part of the joint actions to promote national tourism.

The Ministry of Tourism and Identity reaffirmed that tourism is an engine of regional development, capable of connecting destinations, strengthening local economies and generating real opportunities for thousands of families. The 2026 Tourism Promotion Caravans represent a firm step to continue positioning Guanajuato, which is part of the Midwest region, as a competitive, diverse and forward-looking tourism corridor.

The event was attended by the Secretary of Tourism of Acapulco, Noé Peralta Herrera, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Identity of Guanajuato, who led the presentation to the media and stakeholders in the tourism sector.

With these actions, Guanajuato reaffirms its commitment to tourism that generates well-being for the people, strengthens cooperation between states and consolidates itself as a tool for economic and social transformation, fully aligned with the State Tourism Plan 2025-2030 and the vision of the Government of the People.
