The Government of the People, through the Ministry of Tourism and Identity, reported that Guanajuato recorded a positive closing to October 2025 with 18 million visitors.
The economic flow of 42,659 million pesos was also accumulated, figures that confirm the strengthening of tourism as an engine of wellbeing for the state's communities.
The Secretary of Tourism and Identity, María Guadalupe Robles León, emphasized that this growth represents a significant advance over the previous year and reflects a sustained upward trend, a mission entrusted by Governor Libia Denisse García Muñoz Ledo.
“As of October, we have already had 18 million visitors. This gives an economic revenue of 42,659 million pesos. This is a projection of 9% more visitors than last year, and in terms of revenue it is 10 percent.”
Robles León emphasized that growth is not concentrated in a single destination, but is distributed throughout the state, benefiting tourism service providers, artisans, traditional cooks and local economies.
“Above all, this is being dispersed throughout the state. As the number of visitors increases, so does the revenue,” explained the head of the office.
The State Government plans to close the year surpassing the results of 2024, reaffirming Guanajuato as one of the most solid and competitive tourist destinations in the country.
