Between Volcanoes Tour

The adventure begins in Valle de Santiago, where we will visit the impressive Rincón de Parangueo Crater. To reach the center of the crater we will go through a natural tunnel that takes us to a landscape that seems to be from another world, with white tones reminiscent of a snowy desert.

We will continue to La Alberca Crater, known for its mystical and energetic atmosphere, and then we will visit the Alvarez Crater, a fascinating site where inside the crater itself there is a small community.

Later, we will head to the municipality of Yuriria, where we will visit the famous Crater Lake and the Ex-Convent of San Agustin, a jewel of the 16th century. We will also stroll through the historic center and visit the artificial lake of Yuriria, one of the oldest hydraulic works in America.

During the tour we will enjoy a typical meal of the region, with traditional dishes such as fish, frogs, charales and other local delicacies.

To close the day, we will return to downtown Valle de Santiago, where we will visit its Alameda, surrounded by Indian poplars, and a historic photo studio where images of the legendary giant vegetables once grown in the area are preserved. The experience culminates with a delicious handmade "nieve de garrafa", one of the most traditional and refreshing of the place.
