A village like no other. First, because it is desert, a magical place, and they even call it the Ghost Town, but not because it is empty, but because it is full of legends and stories that make it a mystical and exciting destination.
It has many tourist attractions, but let’s start with the Jesuit Ovens (Hornos Jesuitas), which you have probably already seen in a photo, and which are monumental and already known worldwide. In Pozos, you can tour mines, buy handicrafts, eat pre-Hispanic cuisine, go for a cross-country bike ride and if you are lucky enough to coincide with a film or art festival, the atmosphere is extremely bohemian.
Don’t leave Pozos without drinking a glass of “colonche“, the typical red fruit ferment, as well as eating a “taquito de escamoles” one of the local specialties.
