The Mining Museum, located inside the Parador, is a space dedicated to rescue, preserve and disseminate the memory of the mining activity that has shaped the identity of Guanajuato. Here, visitors can learn about the processes involved in the exploitation of a mine, immersing themselves in an experiential experience that enriches their understanding of this important industry. In addition, the museum offers relevant information to understand the economic configuration of the state, particularly its capital, allowing visitors to further appreciate the history behind each mine.
Catrinas Museum and Fiesta de las Ánimas: Celebrating Tradition
You can't miss the Catrinas Museum, which honors the celebration of the Day of the Dead and the Day of the Faithful Departed. This museum is a tribute to our traditions, which allows us to reconnect with the past and recognize the strength of our ancestors. Here, beliefs and respect for the sacred are intertwined with the customs that are part of our history and culture.
