The León State Fair 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most important tourism events of the coming year, with high expectations for attendance and hotel occupancy.
The Secretary of Tourism and Identity, María Guadalupe Robles León, highlighted the confidence in surpassing last year's results, as the trust of the Government of the People, in charge of Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo, turns into opportunities for all families to enjoy this event with more than 80% of free activities.
“We have every expectation of surpassing the 6.9 million visitors we had last year and I know we will exceed it,” said Robles León.
Robles León emphasized that the support of the State Government for the Fair strengthens national promotion and generates a virtuous circle of tourism growth.
“What we want is that there is hotel occupancy, because if there is hotel occupancy we have hotel tax and that allows us to continue promoting the state of Guanajuato,” said the head of SECTURI.
With a line-up of high-impact concerts and a consolidated family offer, the León State Fair reaffirms itself as a pillar of tourism in Guanajuato and for all families to enjoy the 450th anniversary of the city of leather and footwear.
