The event, held from March 13–15 at Campo Marte, brought together over 80 restaurants, 220 exhibitors, and more than 500 dishes, on a platform that surpasses 12,000 attendees per edition, with a visitor profile of high purchasing power and a reach exceeding 10.3 million people, becoming a strategic showcase for tourism and gastronomy promotion.
As Guest State, Guanajuato presented a comprehensive proposal that reflects its identity, tradition, and culinary evolution. The delegation included the participation of traditional cooks such as Dora Isela Castro Andrade, from Celaya, and Elizabeth Jaralillo Cofradías, from Comonfort, as well as the contemporary proposal of chef Raymundo Gutiérrez, with a presence in Dolores Hidalgo C.I.N. and San Miguel de Allende, showcasing the richness of Guanajuato's cuisine from its roots to its innovation.
In the world of wines and spirits, the state stood out with the presence of 11 wineries and a representative offering from its main wine-producing regions: San Miguel de Allende, Dolores Hidalgo, Comonfort, San Felipe, and León, in addition to mezcals from San Luis de la Paz and the participation of the Association of Mezcal Women, as well as tequila and artisanal beer, demonstrating the state's productive maturity and diversity.
The Guanajuato stand included an experiential zone with sensory tastings, traditional workshops like using the molcajete, and cultural activations, in addition to a four-course pairing dinner with the Guanajuato Grape and Wine Association, as well as specialized tastings for knowledgeable audiences and opinion leaders.
One of the key moments was the opening ceremony, where the Secretary of Tourism and Identity, María Guadalupe Robles León, participated alongside authorities from the gastronomic sector, international representatives, and industry leaders. Likewise, during the 2026 Gala Dinner, Guanajuato received recognition as the Guest State, reaffirming its relevance within the national gastronomic landscape.
Guanajuato's participation in this forum responds to a clear strategy: positioning the state as an integral gastronomic destination that combines traditional cuisine, contemporary fine dining, wine, spirits, and cultural identity, generating opportunities for promotion, commercialization, and attracting visitors to its seven tourist regions.
