The Regional Culture Hall invites you to explore the cultural development of the state from pre-classical times, with the Chupícuaro culture, to the significant changes of the 20th century. The museum has a simulated mine that includes sound effects, real minerals and interactive screens in Spanish and English. In addition, you will have the opportunity to see a model of the emblematic Juarez Theater and learn about how mining arose in the region, its impact on the economic and cultural development of the state, and its influence that endures to this day.

The Museum of Art and History of Guanajuato is open during the following hours:
