Hidalgo Museum: A Journey through Salamanca's History and Art
Located on the emblematic corner of Juárez and Albino García streets, the Hidalgo Museum is a place of great significance for the people of Salamanca and an unmissable point of interest for visitors.
The house that houses the Hidalgo Museum was the largest in its time and has been carefully preserved as part of the historical heritage of Salamanca. When touring its rooms, visitors can appreciate various works that recall the Independence and the cultural legacy of the municipality. Among the current exhibitions is “Amor a la mexicana”, which presents a beautiful collection of textile toys, created by the talented Maestra Gabriela Juárez Suárez. This exhibition, which celebrates Mexican creativity and tradition, will be on display until October 31.
The municipal government invites everyone to explore this beautiful place, which is the pride of the Heart of Guanajuato. The Hidalgo Museum opens its doors from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00 hours and on Sundays from 10:00 to 15:00 hours, offering an enriching experience that combines history, art and culture.
