The museum, located in front of the Jardín Principal, occupies the building that for many years was the “Dr. Agustín Medrano” school and formerly a cemetery. It has seven rooms, two of them dedicated to the work of the artist that gives it its name and to the Judea, the emblematic tradition of Holy Week that distinguishes Purisima.

It also has temporary exhibition halls and an active program of educational services.
