A Celebration Fair

For two weeks, Dolores Hidalgo dresses up with a fair that includes a variety of activities for all tastes. Visitors can enjoy artisanal exhibitions that showcase the cultural richness of the town and the talent of its artisans. From ceramic pieces to textiles, each item reflects the heritage of the region.

The nights are illuminated with fireworks, creating a visual spectacle that complements the festive atmosphere. Additionally, sporting events are organized that encourage community participation and camaraderie among attendees.

The Cry for Independence

September 16th is the most anticipated day, as it commemorates the historic cry for independence that Father Miguel Hidalgo gave in the Parish of Our Lady of Dolores. This act marked the beginning of Mexico's struggle for independence and is remembered with fervor in the place where it all began. Excitement is in the air as residents and visitors gather to relive this crucial moment in history.

Music, Theater, and Civic-Military Parade

The festivities include a varied cultural program encompassing music, theater, and a civic-military parade. These events are a way to pay homage to the heroes of independence and to celebrate the national spirit that unites all Mexicans. The musical performances, ranging from local groups to renowned artists, fill the streets with joy and rhythm, while the theater offers an artistic look at the country's history.
