First Feast: September 1st
The first celebration takes place on September 1st and is an event that attracts pilgrimages from as far away as Mexico City, San Miguel de Allende, Querétaro and Celaya. On this day, the faithful congregate to pay homage to the Virgin, an act that symbolizes union and devotion to the figure of the Mother of God. Masses and religious ceremonies are an essential part of this festivity, where the community unites in prayer and celebration.
Second Party: Celebration in November
The second celebration, which takes place in the last 10 days of November, is even more extensive and festive, lasting four full days. In this celebration, homage is paid to Mary in her invocation of the Virgen de los Remedios. During these days, the atmosphere is full of joy and color, with a program full of activities that include music bands, traditional dances such as the Apache, Torito, Rose, Concheros, Sonaja and Aztec dances.
Craft and Trade Show
During the festival, a craft and trade show is set up, where local artisans exhibit their creations. This is an excellent moment to acquire unique and authentic products that reflect the culture and talent of the region.
