Spend a day in the countryside visiting one of the region's most important wineries and enjoy a tasting of two wines paired with cheeses. The highlands of Guanajuato are ideal for growing grapes, and with this tour of the Ex Hacienda Jesús María, you will witness its history and flavors.

The journey begins on the way to Cerro del Cubilete, between Guanajuato and Silao. Upon arriving at the former hacienda, you will discover an old property built on the ruins of a hacienda from the Bajío's most important mining region, and you will tour its ruins, vineyards, and wine cellar while its history is told to you.

In the cellar, the vineyard's sommelier will lead a comparative tasting of two glasses of wine, paired with a cheese board. This way you will learn about the grape varieties and the winemaking process.
