Description:
History and Architecture
The house, built in colonial style, was Diego Rivera's home during his early years. Through the efforts of his daughter, Guadalupe Rivera Marín, and with the support of institutions such as the Federal Government and the National Institute of Fine Arts, the building was restored and converted into a museum. Its interior design has been carefully recreated to reflect Rivera's life in the transition from the 19th to the 20th century, offering an intimate view of his childhood and the influences that shaped his artistic career.
Featured Exhibitions
The museum houses a varied collection that comes from the collection of the engineer Marte R. Gómez, which includes representative works from different stages of Rivera's life. Among the exhibition halls, the following stand out:

- Sketches Room: Here you can see the preliminary drawings for the mural “Historia del Teatro”, made at the Teatro de los Insurgentes in Mexico City.
