Conde Rul Museum
This majestic manor house belonged to a local mining mogul. The museum consists of 10 exhibit rooms displaying art pieces by Dr. Atl, Diego Rivera, José Chávez Morado and Luis Nishizawa.
Built in the 1800’s, the neo-classical design and construction of the manor house is credited to Mexican architect Francisco Eduardo Tresguerras. In 2018, the building was adapted as a museum, showcasing the works of a collection of artists including José María Velasco, Diego Rivera, Dr. Alt, José Chávez Morado, Olga Costa, Javier Hernández ‘Capello’, Feliciano Penoa, Luis García Guerrero and Luis Nishizawa.
During the Festival Internacional Cervantino, this venue hosts prominent pictorial exhibitions.
