Manuel Doblado
The name of the municipality owes to the illustrious Manuel Doblado, an ideologist from the time of the Reformation.
A peaceful place surrounded by places with incomparable beauty such as “Las Musas”, a forest made up of ahuehuetes, ash trees and willows mainly, where you can also find an aquatic ecosystem with a diversity of species.
A must place to visit is the Parish of San Pedro Piedra Gorda, the House of Culture and the house where the insurgent José Antonio Torres was born.
The main architectural monuments of the municipality are the Casa de la Cristiandad, as well as the Historical Monument to Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla.
